We are Free Period Project, a St. Louis based organization working to reduce period poverty.

Due to a lack of education about periods, access to products, and the price of the products themselves, we know it can be difficult to access products or even ask for them.

We know it can be embarrassing to ask for hygiene products, no matter your financial status. That is why Free Period Project works with schools in the St. Louis area to provide free hygiene products in easy to access bins in all women's and non-gendered bathrooms. However, we not only want to supply products, but also educate people on periods and contribute to ending the stigma around menstruating.
